The land of my forebears And also of my birth
I treat her as my mother, Adore her kind earth.
I breathe her sweet air to live for another day
When I feel thirst and hunger she only shows me the way.
I will hold her banner high and bring her endless glory
I will give my heart and soul and never make her sorry.
I will protect her sacred borders and ward off the evil eye
As a loyal child I say... I will not let my mother cry....
