~Salvation~

Once there was a tribe living in greed
On malice and bitterness everyday they feed

In the goblet of sorrow they gladly drink
With evil, their breaths fatally stink

The land they walk on was full of tension
Where helping others was never an option

Whilst giving misery was a favored action
And breeding dark lords was a competition

It was a barren land without hope or love
Souls without guidance from the Lord above

With future of most certain unfaltering doom
Ah! Nothing to hold on but death and gloom

Then God at last sent his mercy on each dying soul
Sent His last Messenger bearing one heavy goal

Take these people where the light shines bright
Alas, salvation came and embraced them tight

  1. This is the best poem I have read in my whole life.. I love this part: Then God at last sent his mercy on each dying soul
Sent His last Messenger bearing one heavy goal

Take these people where the light shines bright
Alas, salvation came and embraced them tight
